At this statewide launch and rally, we will unveil our petition and plans for action to ensure that all Arizona students have access to quality school library programs.
The site of the rally and launch is the Mesa Public Schools Governing Board Meeting, where a recent decision was made to eliminate all teacher librarian positions and replace them with aides over a three-year period. MPS has 87 schools and serves 74,000 students.
